CABS Annual Sisterhood Luncheon
Cleveland Association of Black Storytellers Annual Sisterhood Luncheon celebrates the best in African and African American women. The Sisterhood Luncheon brings the community of all ages and professions together for an afternoon of fellowship, black storytelling, shopping in our African marketplace, and a delicious luncheon.
CABS Black Storytelling Week
Black Storytelling Week is a time when the Cleveland Association of Black Storytellers offers Black Storytelling throughout the Greater Cleveland area in a wide variety of venues; schools, senior facilities, libraries, cultural events and community centers. This year our 11th Annual Black Storytelling Week will be held the 3rd week of September. More information to follow.
CABS Community Kwanzaa Celebration
Cleveland Association of Black Storytellers hosts a community Kwanzaa, December 27th celebrating Kujichagulia (self-determination), the second day of the 7-day Kwanzaa holiday. Our Kwanzaa celebration includes the Candle Lighting Ceremony, community speakers, Children’s arts & crafts Village, African drumming and dance, a community feast, and of course Black Storytelling.
