CABS Open Mic
Cleveland Association of Black Storytellers is hosting a public Open Mic for artists and non-artists to share their stories, poems, spoken word, narratives, songs or whatever is on your heart. Open Mic will be held at Choukouya Resto-Bar, 4620 Richmond Road, Warrensville Heights, Ohio 44128, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. This event is free and open to the public.
CABS Community Kwanzaa Celebration
Cleveland Association of Black Storytellers hosts a community Kwanzaa, December 27th celebrating Kujichagulia (self-determination), the second day of the 7-day Kwanzaa holiday. Our Kwanzaa celebration includes the Candle Lighting Ceremony, community speakers, Children’s arts & crafts Village, African drumming and dance, a community feast, and of course Black Storytelling.
